As of August 1, the Johan Cruyff Foundation will take over part of the activities of the Special Heroes Foundation. Through this step, we will be able to create even greater impact together for children and young people with disabilities.
The Cruyff Foundation will take over the Sport & Physical Activity learning pathway, including components such as introductory lessons and clinics, ShuffleSports, ClubExtra, and cycling and traffic education. In addition, within the Work & Participation learning pathway, the programs Junior Sports P.A. and I am Sports P.A. will continue. The Team12 intervention will also become part of the Cruyff Foundation.
We are pleased to welcome four new colleagues from the Special Heroes Netherlands Foundation, ensuring that valuable knowledge and experience are retained. The current project leaders will also remain involved and can provide support in other lifestyle-related themes, thanks to their strong network and experience in the field.
