On Friday, October 16, 2026, we will host the Cruyff Foundation Girls Event at the Friendship Sports Centre in Amsterdam. It will be an inspiring day filled with sports clinics, workshops and side events, especially for girls from across the Netherlands.
Girls still participate in sports less often than boys, even though sports and physical activity are incredibly important for their development, confidence and social connections. That is why the Cruyff Foundation together with community sports coaches and youth workers at Cruyff Courts is committed to introducing more girls to sports in an accessible and welcoming way, while encouraging them to have fun and be active together.
