The Cruyff Foundation and the KNZB work together to promote swimming for children and young people with disabilities, thereby increasing participation in the sport of swimming. This is achieved through various initiatives, such as:

  • Developing programmes to provide children with structured swimming opportunities
  • A talent programme that offers young, ambitious swimmers a stepping stone towards elite sport through an individual approach within a team environment
  • Minior activities aimed at swimmers aged 6–14. These focus on learning the basic principles of competitive swimming

In this way, we give children the space to participate in sport so that they can develop themselves.
