FLAIR is an ambitious project that seeks to improve access to sports for children and young people with disabilities.
We will research how to overcome challenges, increase visibility, and eliminate barriers so that all children with disabilities can play and be active. The project combines the knowledge and experience of partners from the Netherlands (Johan Cruyff Foundation), Spain (Fundación Cruyff and Eusebio Sacristán Foundation), and Austria (Nico Langmann Foundation) to maximize learning, action, and impact in the field of adaptive sports. The FLAIR project activities include online knowledge-sharing meetings, in-person meetings with key stakeholders in each country, and eight final sport day events, where more than 3.000 children will participate.
Over the next two years, we will share our findings to help close the disability gap in sport.
FLAIR runs until February 2027 and is co-funded by the European Union.
