Former top footballer Rafael van der Vaart reopened the Cruyff Court in his hometown. Cruyff Court Beverwijk was initially established in 2009 and, after years of intensive use, due for a refurbishment. The large field, located in the middle of a residential area, received a new artificial grass surface and a new name: Cruyff Court Rafael van der Vaart!
