The Johan Cruyff Foundation supports and develops impactful sports and play projects all around the world. We focus on children and youngsters for whom sport isn’t a guaranteed part of their lives. We put this into practice by sports projects for children with special needs, by setting up outdoor sports facilities in deprived areas and social sports programs. Through these actions we create space.

Cruyff Street League South Africa
For the first time in history, teams of children from the ten Cruyff Courts in South Africa competed against each other for the coveted Cruyff Street League Cup. The exciting finals took place at Cruyff Court Elandsdoorn, the very first Cruyff Court, opened by Johan Cruyff himself in 2004.

Anniversary edition Cruyff Foundation Open Day
Today we celebrated the 25th edition of the Cruyff Foundation Open Day. More than 1,300 children gathered in the Olympic Stadium, which was transformed into a true sports paradise for children with a handicap. All day they could try out over 25 different sports, discovering which one suits them best.

Vivianne Miedema opens Creative Cruyff Court in London
Dutch and UK based forward Vivianne Miedema opened a Creative Cruyff Court in London in a celebratory ceremony at which children from the Lambeth Council area had the chance to meet and interact with one of the greatest goalscorers in the modern women’s game. Julen Cruyff, grandson of Johan Cruyff and son of Jordi Cruyff, also took part in the opening.
