Johan Cruyff Foundation

The Johan Cruyff Foundation supports and develops impactful sports and play projects all around the world. We focus on children and youngsters for whom sport  isn’t a guaranteed part of their lives. We put this into practice by sports projects for children with special needs,  by setting up outdoor sports facilities in deprived areas and social sports programs. Through these actions we create space.  

Space to grow. Space to make friends. Space to improve both their physical and mental health.

Nautical sports day for everyone

Around 25 children with disabilities have enjoyed a unique experience at sea, organised by the Cruyff Foundation and the Barça Foundation, as the project’s main partner.

Soufiane Touzani opens new Cruyff Court in Meppel

In the Haveltermade district of Meppel, a new Cruyff Court officially opened today! On the site of a former small football pitch, there is now a multifunctional sports and meeting space with facilities for football and 3x3 basketball. A place where children and youngsters from the neighbourhood can come together to play, exercise and meet each other.

'Salid y disfrutad 6vs6' final

More than 150 children gathered to play in the Grand Final of the “Salid y disfrutad 6vs6” school tournament, which took place once again at the Cruyff Court of Igualada (Barcelona).

Cruyff Street League Final 2026 at Dam Square

After weeks of qualifying rounds and district finals across Amsterdam, the Cruyff Street League final took place on Dam Square. Teams from Oost, West, Nieuw-West, Zuid, Zuidoost, Noord, Centrum and Weesp competed against each other in the battle to be crowned the city’s “best street football team.”

20th edition of the Cruyff Foundation Cup

As a warm-up to the World Cup, the 20th edition of the Cruyff Foundation Cup took place today, the Cruyff Foundation’s annual corporate tournament. At the Friendship Sports Centre in Amsterdam, 26 corporate teams came together.
