More than 150 children gathered to play in the Grand Final of the “Salid y disfrutad 6vs6” school tournament, which took place once again at the Cruyff Court of Igualada (Barcelona).

Today, more than 150 boys and girls from different municipalities enjoyed an unforgettable day of football, camaraderie and fellowship, proving that sport is the best way to foster social cohesion and transformation.

Following a final in which values took priority above all else, the children of Barcelona were crowned champions of the tournament. In this tournament, recognizing attitude both on and off the court is especially important. In this regard, the respect award in the male category has been presented to the boys from Sitges for their exemplary behaviour, whilst in the female category it has been awarded to the girls from Igualada for perfectly representing the tournament’s values. Meanwhile, the award for the best supporters went to the Sant Vicenç dels Horts team, who filled the stands with colour and unwavering support.

This project, inspired by Johan Cruyff's famous quote that gives the tournament its name, uses sport as a tool for inclusion, integration, cohesion, and social transformation. Throughout the season, the competition has taken place in more than 23 Cruyff Courts, with over 3,000 children participating in the preliminary and semi-final rounds, before reaching the grand final in Igualada.

From the Cruyff Foundation we would like to congratulate the champions and all the participants of the tournament, as well as thank the more than 160 Heroes and the more than 40 Coaches for making this tournament possible.

Cruyff Impulsa

The Cruyff Impulsa project, led by the Cruyff Foundation with the Barça Foundation as its main partner, is a social transformation initiative in Catalonia that seeks to guarantee the right to sport and improve the quality of life of vulnerable children and young people, with a particular focus on those with physical or mental disabilities.

Through a comprehensive approach combining inclusive sporting activities, such as the “Salid y disfrutad 6vs6” tournament and adapted sports days, specialised training programmes for coaches and young people, and social awareness campaigns, the project aims to reach 4,000 beneficiaries annually across 25 municipalities. The goal is to remove the barriers to accessibility and training that prevent children facing exclusion or with functional diversity from enjoying the physical and emotional benefits of physical exercise on an equal basis.
