Jurriën Timber opens Cruyff Court on Curaçao
Arsenal defender Jurriën Timber officially opened his own Cruyff Court today on the island of Curaçao. As the winner of the Johan Cruyff Talent of the Year Award, the former Ajax star received a Cruyff Court named after him. His choice for a location was clear from the start: Curaçao, the island where his mother was born.

Hato & Buurman dutch Talents of the Year
Jorrel Hato and Veerle Buurman (both 19 years old) have shown how promising and talented they are over the past season. Therefore it makes perfect sense that they were among the winners at tonight's Eredivisie Awards. With the Johan Cruyff Prize for Talent of the Year, in addition to an award, they will receive a Cruyff Court named after them. Role models for the next generation!

Cruyff Court Ryan Gravenberch opens in Liverpool
Liverpool FC midfielder and Cruyff Foundation ambassador Ryan Gravenberch opened a Cruyff Court near Liverpool. In a joyful event at which local children had the chance to attend the unveiling alongside one of the players of the Reds’ 2024-25 Premier League-winning squad. Former Liverpool goalkeeper and current Cruyff Foundation ambassador Sander Westerveld and family members of Ryan Gravenberch joined him at the opening.

Cruyff Courts spark new energy in Edlington and Yorkshire
Two brand-new Cruyff Courts have officially opened in Yorkshire and Edlington – one on the former Yorkshire Main Colliery site in Edlington, and the other in the heart of Normanton Park Yorkshire. Though each has its own unique story, both are creating space for a new generation to play and grow.

Cruyff Legacy 14K 2025 breaks records
The 9th edition of the Cruyff Legacy 14K was one for the books. A record number of almost 7,500 runners and walkers gathered at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Sunday to support the Johan Cruyff Foundation. Together, they raised the impressive amount of €776,435 for sports projects for children with special needs. And the counter is still running!

Cruyff Courts in the city of the Games!
Since 2012, the Cruyff Foundation has been creating Special Cruyff Courts in the cities hosting the Paralympic Summer Games. These courts are specially designed for children with special needs, promoting equal access to sports for all and raising awareness of the importance of inclusive play.

Bonaire: new special Cruyff Court!
With a symbolic penalty, Cruyff Court Ban Hasi Sport was officially opened. Thanks to the Cruyff Court, Bonaire has gained an inclusive sports facility. Local residents, clients, partners, and even State Secretary Vincent Karremans were present to celebrate this special moment together.
