A day on the survival course
Last Thursday, 330 students from special education schools in Groningen and Drenthe took part in the Survival Experience Run. At the Hommes Outdoor survival course in Groningen, the students tackled the route in small groups, taking on various obstacles and survival activities along the way.

Meet our new board member: Jeroen Hoencamp.
Jeroen Hoencamp recently joined the Dutch Board of the Johan Cruyff Foundation. After an international career in the telecommunications industry, during which he lived and worked in five different countries, he now focuses on board and advisory roles. This also gives him more time to pursue his other passions, including travelling and sport.

Meet our new board member: Ference Lamp
Since last year, Ference Lamp has been a member of the Dutch Board of the Johan Cruyff Foundation. Originally from Curaçao, he spent many years working in the financial sector and lived in various parts of the world. Drawing on his own background, he understands the importance of creating opportunities for youngsters.

The season kicks off with one goal: sport for everyone
The new Eredivisie season traditionally kicked off with the Johan Cruyff Shield. At the Philips Stadium, league champions PSV and KNVB Cup winners AZ faced each other in a vibrant edition of the year's leading match for social impact. Because the Johan Cruyff Shield is about more than just football: the season starts with one goal. Sport for everyone.

Soufiane Touzani opens new Cruyff Court in Meppel
In the Haveltermade district of Meppel, a new Cruyff Court officially opened today! On the site of a former small football pitch, there is now a multifunctional sports and meeting space with facilities for football and 3x3 basketball. A place where children and youngsters from the neighbourhood can come together to play, exercise and meet each other.
