The Cruyff Foundation gives children the space to play sport and develop themselves. Not only physically, but also mentally, for both children and youngsters. Heroes of the Cruyff Court is our programme that empowers young people to be role models in their neighbourhood and keeps them actively involved with both the community and the Cruyff Court over the long term.

The Diede de Groot Tennis Academy was officially launched this week with the first Junior Camp in Orlando! The Diede de Groot Academy supports young people with physical disabilities through wheelchair tennis around the world. Her mission fits perfectly with our mission to give more children the space to play and grow, and that’s why we work together.

Cruyff Court Frenkie de Jong opened in Gorinchem
Last night he was playing in a packed Johan Cruijff ArenA, and today he returned to the place where he spent countless hours as a kid. Surrounded by hundreds of enthusiastic young people, Frenkie de Jong opened his own Cruyff Court in Gorinchem. It is a vibrant and accessible sports space where children can play, move and connect!

Cruyff Street League South Africa
For the first time in history, teams of children from the ten Cruyff Courts in South Africa competed against each other for the coveted Cruyff Street League Cup. The exciting finals took place at Cruyff Court Elandsdoorn, the very first Cruyff Court, opened by Johan Cruyff himself in 2004.
