The charity golf and padel tournament organised by our ambassador Ronald Koeman at the Barcelona Golf Club will donate all proceeds to the Cruyff Foundation’s sports projects for children with special needs.

For another year, sport and social commitment have come together in one of the most special events on our calendar: the Koeman Cup by Fundación Sportium. Now in its sixth year, the tournament has established itself as a great opportunity to continue Johan Cruyff’s social legacy, with five consecutive years of unwavering support for the Cruyff Foundation’s projects.

The Club de Golf Barcelona hosted this sporting event, gathering more than 180 participants for the golf and padel tournaments.

The event kicked off on the evening of Thursday May 21st with a welcome dinner, which served to get everyone ready and bring together participants, sponsors and friends of the foundation.

Friday 22nd marked the start of the sports day. After hours of intense competition, the tournament concluded with a lunch, where trophies were given to the winners and the big moment of the day was revealed: the final total raised for this edition amounted to €100,140.

All the funds raised during this sixth edition will go towards the sports projects run by the Cruyff Foundation worldwide. These projects are designed to enable children and youngsters with special needs to take part in sport on equal terms, promoting their physical and emotional health and social inclusion.
