A very special day for 80 children from Cruyff Foundation projects, who took part in Open Court Amsterdam, an initiative by UNIQLO together with Roger Federer. Together with the Esther Vergeer Foundation and Fitkids, we were able to bring these children along for an afternoon full of tennis and fun.

Tennis at the Olympic Stadium
A tennis court was set up in the Olympic Stadium especially for the occasion. Federer held a tennis clinic on the court, which the children from the Cruyff Foundation watched from the stands.
After the clinic, the children had the opportunity to take photos with Federer, as well as get selfies and autographs. Federer also personally handed out goodie bags to the children. Afterwards, those who wanted to could step onto the court themselves for a little tennis.

An Afternoon to Remember
For the children, it was an afternoon they will not soon forget. Playing sports together and above all having lots of fun on the tennis court.
Federer played at the highest level for more than 20 years. He won 20 Grand Slam titles, including eight Wimbledon titles, spent 310 weeks as world No. 1 and won Olympic gold for Switzerland. He retired from professional tennis in 2022. Through the Roger Federer Foundation, he is now committed to, among other things, improving access to education for children.

A big thanks UNIQLO for the invitation and for giving our children the opportunity to take part in Open Court Amsterdam.
