VriendenLoterij celebrates the things that make life beautiful: our connections with others and with our art and culture. Participants join VriendenLoterij because they care about causes that matter to them. Every month, they have the chance to win more than 200,000 prizes, while part of their ticket contribution supports the preservation of cultural heritage and the wellbeing of people. This can include art, our history and rich cultural heritage, or the connections we share and the care we provide for one another, for example through clubs and associations.

In addition, participants can use their VriendenLoterij VIP CARD to experience the things they help make possible. The card provides free access to more than 125 museums and up to 50% discount on countless leisure activities, from cinema and dance performances to musicals and opera.

Thanks to its 1.3 million participants, VriendenLoterij was able to donate almost €134 million in 2021. Participants contribute at least 40% of their ticket price to support 57 cultural partners with multi-year partnerships, as well as more than 3,400 charities and designated partners, clubs and associations. Thanks to its participants, VriendenLoterij has donated a total of more than €1.9 billion to charitable causes.
