Barcelona's most iconic race has sold out its 40,000 race numbers in record time and will donate the proceeds from its charity t-shirt to our social inclusion projects through sport.
The 46th edition of El Corte Inglés Race was presented today; the race will take place on Sunday May 10th. In a spectacular sign of support, the race has sold out its 40,000 available places in record time, with a month still to go before the event.
Covering 10 kilometres, the race will start on Avinguda Diagonal and finish at Plaça de Catalunya, a route that takes in some of Barcelona’s major streets.

At the Cruyff Foundation, we have been working for nearly 30 years to turn physical activity into a tool for change and learning for children and young people with special needs. Being the beneficiary entity of an event with such a long history will allow us to continue driving social transformation projects in the region.

The charity t-shirt
One of the highlights of this edition is the exclusive charity t-shirt, the result of a collaboration between Under Armour and El Corte Inglés. The design has been created by Catalan artist Marina Capdevila, who has successfully captured the popular and Barcelona spirit of the event in both the official poster and the charity t-shirt.
All proceeds from the sales will go towards our sports projects for children and young people with disabilities.

The Cruyff Foundation would like to thank the organisers and all the runners for their solidarity.
