In 2020, the next Paralympic Games will be held – something we are always really looking forward to as the Cruyff Foundation. And… we are always trying to realise a Special Cruyff Court in the country in which these Games are held.

We are excited to say that we are going to do it! We are going to realise a Special Cruyff Court in Adachi-Ku, a sub-municipality of the city of Tokyo. The Special Cruyff Court will be situated near a community sports centre, in the heart of the district. Though many sports are played here already, challenging sports facilities for young people with disabilities are still lacking. We are going to take care of these!

We will do this together with our partner Seacon Logistics, enabling the realisation of the Special Cruyff Court, and with More2Win, assisting in the coordination of the project. We will reach many children in Adachi-Ku, with and without disabilities. So far, three special education schools have joined the project. Of course we will keep you informed of the developments in Japan through our channels, and we will tell you how we are going to make sure that as many children as possible can use the Special Cruyff Court!
