Good news from China! In Kunshan, located in the southeast of Jiangsu province near Shanghai, two new Cruyff Courts have opened. Since their opening, the courts have already been buzzing with activity from youth academies, local teams and neighbourhood residents!

The Cruyff Courts in China are part of so-called WeParks: dynamic, colourful and multifunctional spaces where everyone can move, play and connect. The realisation of these courts has been made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Happy Sports China Group, the official partner of the Cruyff Foundation in China.
During the opening ceremony, Huub Buise, Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of the Netherlands in China, was also present. He underlined the importance of sport as a unifying force: “Today, we witness the fruits of the Chinese-Dutch cooperation in the field of sports. The Cruyff Courts in Kunshan show how important sport is for public health and for strengthening community ties.”
The opening of these two courts marks just the beginning. Soon, coaches will be organising sports programmes and activities for locals on the Cruyff Courts in Kunshan!
