Eleven participants took part in the Paralympic Dressage League Final, organised by the Catalan Equestrian Federation and the Cruyff Foundation at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.

This past weekend, the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona hosted the final of the Paralympic Dressage League, an event that not only marks the end of the 2025 season but also strengthens the partnership between the Cruyff Foundation and the Catalan Equestrian Federation in our mission to make equestrian sport more accessible to everyone.

This project was launched in 2023 in order to address the identified need for more competitive opportunities for athletes with disabilities who were already involved in equestrian sports. It was not until 2024 that the project took its current form, with a structured and training-focused approach thanks to the partnership between the Cruyff Foundation and the Catalan Equestrian Federation.

In this regard, in 2025 the league took a step further by organising an open day to enable new riders to experience this discipline for the first time at each of the five venues where the league has been held.

As a result, the 2025 season concluded with 81 participants, 31 of whom were children with disabilities.

The Paralympic dressage league project clearly shows that sport knows no bounds and that we continue to work to bring equestrianism to the whole region so that children with disabilities can enjoy this sport.
