Johan Cruyff opened the first two Cruyff Courts in Malaysia in 2012. Two more Cruyff Courts were added in October 2017. Now we have more great news to share!

Several additional Cruyff Courts and possibly Schoolyard14s will be opened around the country over the next few years in collaboration with local partner Yayasan Hasanah.

The Cruyff Foundation and Yayasan Hasanah signed a letter of intent on Friday 9 February during a trade mission by Sigrid Kaag, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation. The ministry has also agreed to fund the training of the Cruyff Foundation Coaches in Malaysia. This will give local Coaches the opportunity to launch the Cruyff Foundation's Heroes of the Cruyff Courts programme with the help of local young people.

Cruyff Football was also present during the Malaysia visit. They held a clinic at the PPR Sri Semarak Cruyff Court in Kuala Lumpur and in the football stadium for coaches of the National Football Development Program of Malaysia and local youth.
