Cruyff Foundation Wheelchair Sports Dag
The Cruyff Foundation Wheelchair Sports Day is a sports day for children with a disability. During this day children participate in three different sports, wheelchair tennis, wheelchair hockey and wheelchair basketball. There are also several other games available to the children.
During this event the children will receive a training of several famous Dutch athletes like Robin Ammerlaan (wheelchair tennis Olympic champion, second in the Paralympic Games in Beijing), Esther Vergeer (wheelchair tennis Olympic champion, first at the Paralympic Games in Beijing), players of the Dutch Electric Rolstoelhockey Team and players from Dutch Wheelchair Basketball Team.
In 2010 this event will take place on the 17th of March in the Sporthallen Zuid in Amsterdam.
